Warrumbungle Shire Council is seeking an experienced Building Certifier to join our team on a part-time basis for up to three months. We're looking for someone who can confidently apply their technical knowledge while also building positive relationships with applicants, industry professionals and community members. You'll be comfortable working independently, making sound decisions and communicating clearly, particularly when dealing with complex or sensitive issues.

If you're an accredited Building Certifier looking for a flexible role where your experience will be valued and your contribution will make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assessing applications for construction, complying development and occupation certificates.
  • Conducting inspections of building works at various stages of construction.
  • Providing practical advice and guidance to applicants, builders, developers and the community.
  • Investigating complaints and compliance matters and taking appropriate action where required.
